Vape Trick 101 – A Beginner’s Guide to the Basics of Vape Artistry

Vape tricks look fantastic and are a great way to impress your friends. They are also ideal for people considering switching to vaping.

YouTube is readily accessible to youth and may play a role in teaching new behaviors, such as vape tricks. Future studies are needed to examine how YouTube videos on vape tricks might be used by youth to promote e-cigarettes.

The French Inhale

How to do vape tricks? The French Inhale is ideal for learning vape tricks if you want something extraordinary, visually striking, and simple to execute. One of the most straightforward and well-known smoke tricks available is this one. Take a hefty drag, but don’t exhale. Instead, slowly open your mouth, but not too wide, and as the smoke flows out from your mouth, you will inhale through your nose, guiding the dense cloud up towards your nostrils, creating that excellent French Inhale effect.

You might see this trick in movies, music videos, and pictures being smoked by celebrities worldwide; it’s a classic and instantly recognizable symbol of a nonchalant smoker. You’ll also notice that the French Inhale is often used with smoke rings, which look particularly effective with these. If you need help perfecting this trick, try practicing in front of a mirror to ensure you’re getting the timing of your inhale and the proper angle and placement of your tongue and mouth.

The Bull Ring

Vape tricks are not only eye-catching, but they also exemplify a level of finesse and technique that goes beyond mere smoking. In addition, some of these tricks are very complex and can take quite a while to master. It can be especially true for more advanced vape tricks, such as blowing smoke rings (or O’s). Although this trick has been around for centuries and was initially performed with cigarettes, joints, and pipes, vapers have taken the art of blowing smoke rings to a whole new level with their vapor devices.

Watching videos online is the best way to learn how to perform this vape trick. Several YouTube channels feature tutorials on this and many other vape tricks. Unfortunately, some of these videos are not regulated and can be accessed by underage youth.

This study focused on YouTube because it is one of the most popular platforms for promoting vape tricks to youth. YouTube self-regulates by flagging videos that are sexually explicit, harmful or dangerous, violent or graphic, hateful, spam/scams, and threats to others, as well as copyrighted content.

Aside from tutorials, other videos of vape tricks feature competitions. These competitions are often called cloud competitions and involve blowing clouds of varying sizes for judges to evaluate. The person who blows the biggest cloud wins and moves on to the next round.

The Peace Sign

As you may already know, the peace sign is a hand signal that signifies “peace” or “I come in peace.” It is usually created by clenching your fist with your thumb and index finger pointing up as if you were holding a dove or white flag.

Before the rise of vaping, people used to perform similar tricks with cigars, joints, and cigarettes. The vapor tends to be thicker than smoke, which makes it ideal for these tricks. The first vape trick that most people attempt to master is the O ring, which can be done by simultaneously blowing a pool of vapor into an O shape in your mouth and nose. Once you’ve mastered the O rings, you can move on to other shapes, like a triangle.

The Dragon is another impressive vape trick that requires practice. To do it, you must simultaneously exhale vapor from the corners of your mouth and nose in a swirling motion. It looks fantastic and will make you feel like a wizard from Hogwarts! Try attempting the Jellyfish for extra points if you can get this down.

The Jaws

After you’ve mastered the easy vape tricks, it’s time to start moving on to some more skilled ones. These require more practice, but they’re sure to impress your friends.

First, place your thumbs against your jawline parallel to the mandible muscles to do this. Then, gently slide your thumbs toward each other until your fingertips are between your lower jaw (masseter) and upper jaw (mandible). It is when you’re doing the correct stretch. It can be tricky to find the exact spot and amount of pressure that works for you but keep practicing, and soon you’ll get it down.

You can also do this trick while bending your head back and forth to make it look like you’re saying boo. It’s a good idea to practice this one in front of a mirror so you can see how it looks. Remember to exhale slowly and steadily to make it appear natural. It’s a great way to show off your vaping skills and add flair to your hit.
