How to Organize the Ultimate Girl’s Night In

Every so often, you just need a girl’s night. If you want to spend time catching up, having deep chats, or even just want to spend time with your girls for less, then the best place is right at home. Spending a night in can be perfect. You can choose your music, enjoy delicious food, and have amazing drinks. The comparitive cost between all of you will be a fraction as well, making it a perfect way to spend quality time with some of your favorite women.

There are so many ways to make a night in feel amazing, and with this guide, you’ll smash it out of the park:

Create a Drink List

There are so many cocktail variations that use the same base ingredients, meaning you can make a variety of drinks with a small selection of purchases. When it comes to organizing a drink list, do remember to keep the season in mind. In winter, for example, you can get the ingredients for a white Russian and use that same coffee liqueur to make some amazing boozy hot chocolates. For additional flair, order some hot chocolate bombs. Not only are they packed with flavor, but they’re also a lot of fun to put together.

Create a Playlist

A great playlist can make a night in feel amazing. It can also help you set a theme. If, for example, you wanted to make a jazz-themed night, you can create a great playlist of either classic originals or fun new covers. Have your friends join in, too, so you can have a playlist that lasts longer than your party.

It’s a good idea to even create a second playlist. The first should be to establish the ambience of your party. The second should be full of the top jams if you all want to dance and have silly fun.

Prep as Much of Dinner as Possible

Feeding a large group can be difficult, which is why you should look into what recipes work well in sheets. Sheets of food are great because they can be prepped in advance and then heated up during the party. Food that’s put together by your guests is another great option. You could put together all the fillings for taco dishes, for example, in advance. On the day you reheat the meat portion and then set out the other fillings so your guests can put together their food, their way.

In all instances, you need to choose recipes that allow you to do the bulk of the prep work in advance. This way you can simply reheat the key elements in the oven and serve delicious food.

The only exception to this is if you and your friends love to cook, and you have the space for everyone to pitch in.

Set the Ambience

You don’t need to go out and buy expensive decorations, but a little bit of ambience will go a long way. This means bringing in lamps from around your home into the main party area so that you can have low lights. It means using candles, or even string lights. You can even add a disco ball if that’s something you want. Either way, think about lighting and the scene you want to set since this will drastically change the way your girl’s night pans out.
